Wwe Smackdown Shut Your Mouth | Invasion Mod

Note: This code only functions on original PS2 hardware with a CodeBreaker disc and a v1.0 of Shut Your Mouth (North American release).

The mod replaces standard arenas with high-fidelity textures representing classic pay-per-views and alternative promotions: and ECW Hardcore TV arenas.

The completely rewrites the history of the classic 2002 PlayStation 2 game by injecting the iconic 2001 WCW/ECW Alliance Invasion storyline into its engine. Originally, WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth (SYM) launched in late 2002. The original retail release focused heavily on the post-WrestleMania X8 era and the birth of the original WWE brand extension.

While WWE 2K titles offer incredible graphics and vast community creation suites, they lack the specific physics, lightning-fast pacing, and chaotic backstage freedom of the early THQ/Yuke's games. The Shut Your Mouth engine represents a perfect middle ground between the pure arcade chaos of SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role and the simulation elements introduced later in Here Comes the Pain .
