The pitch-detection algorithm relies on a clear, monophonic signal. Avoid putting stereo effects before the plugin.
: For transparent fixes, set Note Transition to the lowest value that doesn’t produce quantization between notes. Then adjust Speed similarly. This retains the singer’s natural pitch movement while gently guiding wayward notes back to tune.

Before recording, ensure you have set the correct key and scale (e.g., C Major, D Minor) 0.5.4.
Waves Tune Real-Time is fully compatible with the Waves eMotion LV1 live mixing console and SoundGrid processing servers. SoundGrid moves the heavy lifting of plugin processing off the host computer and onto a dedicated DSP server. This enables Front of House (FOH) and monitor engineers to run Waves Tune Real-Time on live vocal mics with a staggering latency of under 1 millisecond. MIDI Control for Dynamic Setlists The pitch-detection algorithm relies on a clear, monophonic
Because the plugin features ultra-low latency, singers experience no audible delay. Hearing themselves perfectly in tune often inspires a more confident, emotionally expressive, and energetic performance. Streamlining the Mix Session
When inserted into a track, the plugin detects the incoming monophonic pitch, determines what the target pitch should be based on the user-defined scale, and corrects the signal to the nearest legal note. Notably, it only processes signals—vocals, bass, lead guitar, and other single-note instruments. It does not process polyphonic sounds like chords. Then adjust Speed similarly
: Don’t set one static correction for the entire track. Automate Speed and Note Transition to be more aggressive on powerful sections (chorus, belted notes) and more relaxed on delicate passages (verses, breaths).
For absolute control, you can route a MIDI track or play a MIDI keyboard into Waves Tune Real-Time.
Where Waves Tune Real-Time truly shines is in live sound reinforcement. Historically, using software pitch correction live required expensive hardware units or unstable, high-latency laptop setups. Waves solved this by designing the plugin to integrate directly with live sound ecosystems. Integration with eMotion LV1 and SoundGrid
