If no updates are available, your device is likely already running the latest approved firmware.

Before initiating any software update, perform the following precautionary steps to avoid bricking your router:
Obtain the correct .bin or .zip firmware file tailored to your exact ZTE MF297D sub-model. Step 2: Upload via Web GUI Log into the Web GUI (). Go to Advanced Settings > Update . Look for a section labeled Manual Update or Local Upgrade .
