Before unlocking the bootloader, it is highly recommended to back up the Trim Area (TA) partition, which stores DRM keys and hardware calibration data. From the menu, select “Trim Area” → “Backup TA” . A .ta backup file will be saved to the Flashtool directory. This file can be restored later to recover lost DRM functionality after re‑locking the bootloader.
